Run PowerBI Desktop report on-premise in SQL SSRS 2016 - to be unveiled this week

At Ignite Conference in Atlanta, FL last month, Microsoft shared a sneak peek video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkOG9HxRpZs where among all other new features, it shows how a PowerBI Desktop report can be rendered in 2016 SSRS (SQL Reporting Services) (min 58.00 in video). This week at PASS Summit http://www.sqlpass.org/summit/2016/Home.aspx, Microsoft is expected to showcase and hopefully release this feature in next SQL 2016 update rollup. What this means is that PowerBI Desktop reports & dashboards can be hosted and rendered on-premise from SSRS 2016 – this is a very hot topic as there are still organizations that are not ready to move their data on the cloud where PowerBI Service can shine and render all those fancy gadgets and charts to awe your clients.
